The new iPad 2020 models were unveiled recently by the company. With the same 11 inch and 12.9 inch display sizes and the same Retina display, there’s not a noticeable difference in design when compared to its predecessor, iPad Pro 2018 models. It is expected to go on sale in India this month.
Though there’s not much of an upgrade in the design but with an edge-to-edge all screen liquid Retina display, there wasn’t much to do in that area either. As far as cameras are concerned, company has upgraded the setup with an addition of an ultra-wide lens. So, the new dual-camera system features a 12MP wide camera with a 10MP ultra-wide camera. The front facing 7MP camera is a true-depth camera which enables great features like Portrait mode, Face ID etc. One of the biggest improvements, along with that of camera, is processor. It has the latest A12Z bionic Chip which Apple claims to be faster and more powerful than Windows laptops. Also, the base model has a storage capacity of 128GB which is an upgrade from 64GB of iPad Pro 2018. Out of all the upgrades, the new magic keyboard tops the chart. By improving the typing experience with a full-sized keyboard and a built-in trackpad, it truly is a “pro” keyboard.
This iPad Pro does bring a number of upgrades. With an improved processor, a pencil and a magic keyboard, has this lineup marked the beginning of the end for laptops?
